¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sister Luz Maria!

Born in Manizales, Colombia on the 6th of March,
she was a miracle baby.
Sister Luz Maria Buitrago continues to weave everyday miracles
in my heart as well as so many many many others whose
lives she has touched along the way.
I met her through a dear friend and mentor, Debbie Palao.
A ray of light among her fellow sisters
A staunch supporter and avid listener
The distinctive lilt in her voice, infectious laugh, wit, and humor
(with Bernice Montenegro)
never fail to lift our spirits.
Thank you for being a dear friend Sister Luz.
You are with us in everything we do and keep us grounded.
You are God's gift to me and to so many others.
I'm so lucky our paths crossed.
I love you always.
